Low-Priced Log Cabins From China

For many of our prospects money is at least partly a topic. For that reason we have done some research for low-priced log cabins. We were very much surprised to see that you can get real nice cabins for already US$4,000.

Mobile Log Cabins

On www.alibaba.com we have found many pretty wood and log cabins and would like to share a few with you.

These are just the cottages that fit into the natural environment of Forest Hill. We have found them on the first two pages of totally 35 pages. So there are many more….for each budget and taste. Some are priced for just one cabin and others for two, five, or ten kits. Since there are several prospects who are looking for very low-priced homes, there might be the chance to order some in bulk.

When choosing your favorite mobile home or cabin, please consider that we can only build one-level buildings in Forest Hill. As a reminder, the lots are 20×20 meters. Therefore, you can either build a larger mobile home or a small one and leave some of the land for gardening. Please also make sure that the constructions are made of natural materials because toxins would spoil our very clean ground water at Forest Hill we will all depend on.

If you want to contact a Chinese constructor, don’t forget to ask whether or not the building of your choice is insulated well enough to bring you through Canadian winters and whether there is the possibility to get triple-glass windows (for your shielding). Ask what the price for transportation will be. Check if the price is for one cabin or for bulk sales. Also ask if the building will be shipped as a whole or in a kit with building instructions in English.

For your future home at Forest Hill we recommend to consider shielding with a special net. Although Forest Hill and the whole area itself is radiation free, we don’t know how long it will take us to prevent the governments from sending cell phone satellites. And although we know methods to completely protect us, we always prefer  a protection on at least two levels, especially when it comes to cell phone radiation.

Of course, you will have to add the costs for transportation. Some cabins from China don’t have any insulation and you would have to insulate it yourself or hire a contractor. You may have to purchase Canadian toilets, sinks, and bath tubs, if they’re not included in the kit. However, building material and contractors are very inexpensive in that area. Actually, from what we have seen it’s really possible to have your own cabin for $10,000 if you’re on a low budget. How amazing! Today you would have to move to a 3. world country to get a house that cheaply.

Here a few thoughts regarding investing in an own cabin for Forest Hill.

There passes no month where we don’t get asked if we have some cabins to rent. Some would like to live their all year round and others just want to escape for a few months and recover from their EHS. If somebody would like to build two such low-priced cabins, you could live in one yourself and lease the other one ($800 per month for permanent rental and $800 per week for short-term guests). Depending on the original cost for the cabin it would amortized in between one and five years and after that time you would have an additional income for your personal needs.

Or, if you would change your mind one day and move back to your own country, state, or province, you could either sell the cabin or keep leasing it. In any case, with such an investment you can only win.

In a later blog we are going to also show you houses from north-american constructors.

In the meantime we wish you a lot of fun with planing and choosing your favorite and ideal cabin for Forest Hill.

Enjoy the process!
