Over one Million permanent Canadian resident visa will be issued between 2019 and 2021. October 31st 2018 the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has presented a very ambitious plan to increase the number of citizens. This is a very rare opportunity for everybody who is thinking about moving to Forest Hill.
The time for our prospects to receive a visa for Canada is better than in a long time. Next year along Canada will give over 300’000 permanent resident visa. Approximately 58% will be issued to economic immigrants including self-employed. To qualify for an economic immigrant it doesn’t matter whether you want to build a brick and mortar business or run a portable business from home.
If you want to qualify as an economic immigrant you will have to proof that you will be in the position to support yourself and the family moving with you. It would be an additional advantage if you could hire a local person but this is not a prerequisite. One of the main criteria for the Canadian immigration office is to make sure that you will be financially safe. What Canada wants the least are immigrants who will have to apply for social security from other countries.
Immigrants who have or plan to have their own business and those with excellent professional qualifications will go through a faster process, as far as I understood. The new immigrants will be split among all the provinces. Since most immigrants want to move to Ontario or the West, and since the Guysborough County is economically week, the chances are very good that our prospects will receive a permanent resident visa, if they have the necessary qualifications.
Besides the applicants, two thirds of the planned visa will be given to partners/spouse, children, parents, and grandparents of the applicants.
October 3rd 2018 the Minister of Immigration, Ahmed Hussen announced:
“The new multi-year immigration levels plan supports Canadian employers and businesses by ensuring they have the skilled labour they need to spur innovation and help to keep our country at the forefront of the global economy. Building on the strong foundation set out last year and continuing to increase economic immigration will help Canada stay competitive and attract talent from around the world.”
If you want to qualify as an economic immigrant you will have to create a solid business plan and your finances. I don’t know how it is in other countries, but in Switzerland you can claim your personal retirements funds before your retirement age if you immigrate to another country. This would be part of your assets you will have to show. If you already have a company, this has a value as well, of course. Further it is important that your business plan contains realistic estimations of your future cash flow for the first five to ten years. On top of that you will also show some facts regarding your target market. You will have to show a viable target market….local people are seldom a good target market. To create a professional business plan you can contacct the CBDC (Canadian Business Development Center) in Guysborough. Make sure that all parts of your application are well sorted in a binder. Make sure to check the website of your Canadian embassy for accurate information to make sure that you will add everything to your binder that is required.
If you are an owner of real estate you have another big advantage, no matter whether you want to sell it or lease it what will bring you an additional monthly income. Everything you can and want to sell before moving to Forest Hill adds to your assets.
For your budget, keep in mind that you will need between $5,000 and $30,000 for your cabin, depending on your needs and preferences. And if you want to be accepted with the first group, it would be helpful to have an additional $36,000 so that you can act as a crowd funder and pay your rent for the first 10 years in advance and save a lot of money (no condition).
Please also keep in mind that the monthly rent for crowd funders is only $300 a month ($36,000 for 10 years), ordinary renters will pay $330 per month if they make a reservation this year. As of January 2020 the monthly rent will be $400. Anybody who will make a binding reservation this year will benefit of the old lease, even if you will move later.
If you have the right qualifications, we may be in the position to offer you a job contract, what would speed up the application process. Applicants with a job contract will be taken care immediately. Please ask yourself the following questions: How can you help the Forest Hill Retreat to quickly become a success? Of course, it’s not enough to just wanting to get the visa faster. To work with us you need skills, talents, and experiences we can use for the best of all future inhabitants. Right now it would help us tremendously to have a few people who can help us find the right future renters and investors. Regarding hiring we will favor crowd funders, when two applicants have the same qualification.
What we hear a lot from our prospects are statements like, „I don’t have any assets, therefore I will not qualify for a visa.“ „I have no money and can’t afford to buy a mobile home.“ „I’m too old to qualify for a visa.“ Such statements reflect a thinking pattern of lack and a victim mentality…”I can’t.”
Many years ago I have applied two mindests:
- “What if….?” “What if there is a solution?”
- “If you don’t have the resources, you have to be resourceful.”
The worst you can do in such a situation is to think, “I can’t” and then to give up. With such a mindset you have already lost. No matter what goal you want to achieve, you should never focus on the problems but exclusively on the solutions, no matter how long it will take.
Over the years I have gained much training in being “resourceful” and one of my strengths is to recognize potential in people and how they could offer their potential to the world. Therefore I highly recommend to get in touch with me, to find out if your skills and talents can be used and to make a contribution while creating resources for yourself and your family. Most people are very much surprised when they realize what a big potential and how many opportunities they really have.
With each step you’re taking, listen to your heart…not to your gut, not to your head, but to your heart. Because it’s your heart that knows best what is right for you, and it’s your intuition that realizes all possibilities, even those you can’t see. When you listen to your gut, you will be lead by negative emotions like fears and uncertainties. When you listen mainly to your head, you can only make decisions based on the facts you already know. Only your heart knows all the factors, even those your head can’t see.
Again, it’s recommendable to consult the Canadian Embassy in your country and ask them what currently the requirements are for a permanent resident visa and if they think that you have them.
